You need to be able to say YES to ALL of the following statements:•I am unable to afford to purchase a home in Buckland Newton.•I have family / work / residency / education connections to Buckland Newton or the surrounding villages.•My household income is less than £60,000.•I can demonstrate access to savings or sufficient funds to pay, if required, a small deposit, legal fees and other costs of moving.•I am able to sustain home ownership in the longer term.•I have a good credit history.•I am registered on Dorset Council Home Choice website.•I have registered on the Help2Buy website.
Am I eligible to rent a home?
You need to be able to say YES to ALL of the following statements:•I am unable to afford to purchase a home in Buckland Newton.•I find open market rent in Buckland Newton unaffordable.•I have family / work / residency / education connections to Buckland Newton or the surrounding villages.•My household income is less than £60,000.•I am not already a home owner or named on a home mortgage.•I am able to sustain assured tenancy in the longer term.•I have a good credit history.•I can provide, if required, a landlord’s reference.•I am registered on Dorset Council Home Choice website.
