Am I eligible to buy a home?

You need to be able to say YES to ALL of the following statements: I am unable to afford to purchase a home in Buckland Newton. I have family / work / residency / education connections to Buckland Newton or the surrounding villages. My household income is less than £60,000. I can demonstrate access to savings or sufficient funds to pay, if required, a small deposit, legal fees and other costs of moving. I am able to sustain home ownership in the longer term. I have a good credit history. I am registered on Dorset Council Home Choice website. I have registered on the Help2Buy website.

Am I eligible to rent a home?

You need to be able to say YES to ALL of the following statements: I am unable to afford to purchase a home in Buckland Newton. I find open market rent in Buckland Newton unaffordable. I have family / work / residency / education connections to Buckland Newton or the surrounding villages. My household income is less than £60,000. I am not already a home owner or named on a home mortgage. I am able to sustain assured tenancy in the longer term. I have a good credit history. I can provide, if required, a landlord’s reference. I am registered on Dorset Council Home Choice website.
